Kelan fait partie du village de Tuban, dans le district de Kuta, à Badung, Bali, en Indonésie, situé au sud de l'aéroport Ngurah Rai et au nord de Kedonganan. Le Desa Adat Kelan compte deux banjars : Banjar Kelan Desa et Banjar Kelan Abian, représentant un total d'environ 350 familles, dont la plupart travaillent traditionnellement comme pêcheurs et agriculteurs, et de nos jours, certaines travaillent également dans l'industrie du tourisme et à l'aéroport.
Plage de Kelan is at the northernmost section of Jimbaran Bay, above the fish market. The other sections of Jimbaran Bay are called Muaya Beach (in the very south) and Kedonganan Beach.
Access Kelan Beach via Jalan Segara Madu (Segara Madu Street) or Jalan Taman Sari (Taman Sari Street). Here is a carte. You can’t get to Kelan Beach from Kedonganan Beach via Jalan Pantai Kedonganan because of the fish market.
At Kelan Beach operate four brand-new restaurants, the newest addition to the famous seafood restaurants at Jimbaran Bay. One of them is Restaurant en bord de mer Bawang Merah, serving fresh & live seafood and Balinese specialties.
