Exports of fish and seafood products from Bali in the period from January to November 2011 experienced a 12.39 percent decline to US$93.87 million from $107.15 million in the same period in 2010.
“The export decline was caused by the decline in fishermen’s catches due to extreme maritime weather conditions in the recent rainy season,” Bali provincial administration spokesperson I Ketut Teneng said on Monday as quoted by Antara news agency.
He said that the export of fish and シーフード products contributed 20.31 percent to Bali’s total exports, which reached $462.16 million.
